"What’s up? I’m Daniel or Dan for short. I’m twenty one and I make Undercover Lovers’ hair and faces look good. It’s a pretty good gig, I gotta say. It’s a bit of an odd job for a guy, I know. But I guess I’m a bit of a rebel in that sense. But I mean, have you seen my hair? If I can do this to my hair you bet you bottom dollar I can do it so somebody else.
My appearance? I guess I look like every other twenty something year old. I don’t think there’s anything about my appetence that particularly stands out except maybe my hair dying habits. In terms of the clothes I chose there’s really no rhyme or reason for the things I wear. I guess you can consider it eclectic. Yeah, I’ve got an eclectic sense of style. I don’t really go out of my way to look a certain way. I just like to keep it fresh. I think the only thing that’s slightly unordinary about me is my piercings. I’ve got snake bites but I don’t often wear them.
Umm what am I like? I smoke,5 I buy clothes, and I ride motorcycles. What more do you need to know about me? No. I’m only joking, I’m not really stuck up like that. Anyway, that’s a good question. In a overall personality check, I’m a rather friendly guy. I can take a joke and laugh and have a good time instead of letting things get to me such as a petty fight, and that is pretty rare, for me to get into an actual fight with someone, probably because I enjoy using my charisma to avoid things like that, but it doesn't work all the time. I will never turn down an invitation to have a good time and party with friends, or even strangers, I’m the kind of guy whose sure to have fun with everyone, making me a party goer, who wouldn't miss the biggest party of the year for anything. I live for the moment. There is nothing quite as fun as thinking of some fun crazy plan seconds before actually doing it. I wouldn't say I don't think about things before I do them, because I do to a small extent. I think about if I will die, or get arrested. Then I act. It has caused me a lot of injuries. I'm usually a pretty happy person; there aren't many days where I'm all gloomy and whatnot, not saying it doesn't happen occasionally though. Because of that, I hate to see people sad; I will do anything to make someone happy again. That ranges from watching movies with them all day to doing something completely stupid to get them to laugh. But mostly I just genuinely like people and hope that they like me back.
Would you believe me if I told you that I was adopted by a family of Rasta’s? No. Okay good cause that’s not what happened. Actually I am a product of the great city of Las Vegas and two awesome parents. I guess compared to most I had a pretty normal childhood and adolescence. We were a middle class family, which was more than okay with me. I lived with my mom, dad, and my older brother Ronnie. I never considered myself to be really cols with my parents. I never really considered myself to have a really close relationship with my parents but we had a pretty good one. My brother on the other hand, we were best friends growing up and we still are. We kinda had different lives especially in high school. But we still made it work. That’s good thought cause most siblings I know can’t stand each other. In school I was a pretty average student. I got good grade because I had to in order to play sports. Looking back, I never really had a clique. I just kinda hung out with everyone.
After my brother’s band started touring I kind of fallowed them around like a groupie. But being a groupie totally hurts your social status. Male groupies are not cute. So I just stopped fallowing them around. Nahh, that’s not really how it happened. Actually during my groupie days I got wind that Undercover Lover needed a new hair person so I kinda volunteered. And that’s want I’ve been doing ever since. Honestly I think the only reason they let me work for them is because James’ brother is friends with my brother. But it works for me. "

(:Now that the tour had been going on for a little while. Right now everybody looked like they were ready to just die. It was hard to imagine having a day off, but lo and behold today was one of those days. It was like a gift from God. There was no waking up at six in the morning, no having to rush to the catering lines, and no having to rush to the showers. The night before Oli decided that today was going to be a good day especially since he was supposed to hang out with Hudson. Hudson, the guitarist for Ignore The hyenas, was Oli’s official best friend of the male persuasion. Anyway, that was all besides the point, Oli was extra excited to chill with Hudson. They’d probably go shopping cause he liked to have something from every city they went to.
As soon as he was wide awake Oli sent a text to Hudson. Wanna share a taxi to the shopping district? Send. While he waited for the other’s reply he got dressed and did all the thing associated with getting ready to go out. When Hudson’s reply finally came he was just about ready. Meet you out side of your bus in a half and hour? He sent back. Now he got ready at a slower pace…or as slow a pace as he could manage with out going crazy. When it was about time to go and get his bestie and looked in the mirror one last time to make sure his hair wasn’t poofing up out of anywhere that could potentially embarrassing. Luck for him he only needed to fix a few strands of hair than he was on his way out.
When Oli was just about at his bus he send him one last text message. Come outside. I’m here. With a sigh he leaned against the huge bus. Oli could hardly wait to see him. When he saw the door open and he stepped out, a wave of relief consumed him. “Man, I was beginning to think you were going to bail on me.” he joked. Turing on his heels, Oli started to walk in the general direction of the street. Luckily he paid attention when they first got to the venue so he didn’t get lost in the parking lot with all the bussed, and van, and everything else that was able to fit in the parking lot.
As soon as the pair hit the outside pavement Oli was at work hailing a cab for them. He’d done this about a thousand times so he was a pro at it. A minute or two went by before he caught the attention of any cabbie. When someone finally stopped to give them a ride, Oli opened the door and waited for Hudson to scoot in before he scooted in himself. He leaned forward to give the cabbie directions to their destination. Thank you mapquest. Leaning back in the seat he turned to Hudson ”So… whata we goin’ to do?”
Them having a good time wasn’t a matter of whether or no they would have a good time. It was sort of inevitable; there was never a dull moment between them. Which was one of the reasons that Oli thought he liked Hudson. The cab ride only lasted about five minutes but whatever. When they were faced with the largest shopping district in [insert random city here] became way more excited than he had been. He was so ready to buy stupid things that it was driving him insane. “Where to first, my dear?”
