Teddy was here. The words continued to run through his mind since the moment he heard ‘Consider It Mutual’ slip off of his boyfriends lips. It was still early in the tour and Cody hadn’t had time to walk around and see what other bands were there, so he wasn’t aware…until now. He wasn’t sure what to think really and he couldn’t help but wonder if Teddy knew that he was on this tour too. Did he even remember Cody? It had been awhile and they didn’t know each other for too long, considering Cody had to leave the tour they met on pretty early. Cody couldn’t help the fact that he cared so much; Teddy had been the first boy he had ever liked, kissed, and felt safe around. Nothing official had happened between them but it was just about to and that short period of time still meant something to Cody, always will. He didn’t know why Teddy’s presence on the tour had rattled him, but he knew he wasn’t ready to see him, even though he really did want to. He wondered if Teddy had changed at all, Cody sure did, he changed a whole lot. What would Teddy even think of this version of Cody?
Cody had just departed from his boyfriend, Lucas, he felt bad for not entirely being present as they hung out, which was why he had excused himself earlier than he intended. He was too much in his head and he needed to just take a moment, but he didn’t want to scare Lucas in anyway, so he told him that he had plans with Sadie. It wasn’t a complete lie, Cody did plan on seeing Sadie, she just didn’t know it yet. He had to talk to her, she was the only that could help him gather his thoughts together. He felt frazzled and he was starting to freak out a bit, how the hell did Teddy still have this effect on him? What would he even say to Teddy if they ran into each other? Ugh, Cody wasn’t sure what the hell was going on in his brain, but he didn’t like being so confused.
On his way to his own bus, he pulled out his cell and texted Sadie; he needed to see her pronto. ’if you’re not on the bus, get there now, please? I need you :c’ he texted her and continued to walk. He slipped his hands in his pockets and only looked at the ground as he walked, he hoped Sadie would be there, she was the only one that could calm his nerves and talk to him. He was there within minutes, letting himself inside immediately. He saw Evan on the couch playing video games, as usual, ”Is Sadie here?” he asked, the male was too into the game to speak so he just shook his head, his eyes practically glued to the screen. ”when she gets here, tell her to meet me in the back,” he told him as he walked past Evan and made his way to the back lounge area and just throwing himself back on the comfy sitting area. He wasn’t even sure if Evan heard him but Sadie would find him, he closed his eyes as he tried to calm himself down, running a hand through his ruffled hair as he waited for his best friend.

Sadie wasn't particularly busy at the moment. In fact, she wasn't busy at all. She was sitting behind her boyfriend's merch table while he did a meet and greet with the rest of his band. A few people had asked for pictures with her but it wasn't making much of a difference that she was there. She leaned back in her chair, pulling up Angry Birds on her phone and started the mindless activity of flicking birds that exploded and shit out eggs at the pigs who stole their eggs or whatever they did. Her phone vibrated in her hands, surprising her and almost making her drop her phone. she closed out of her game, opening her text messages. she read it quickly and stood up, getting Duncan's attention,"Babe, I gotta go. Cody needs me." They exchanged goodbye hugs; it had become an understood agreement that they were to refrain from PDA. Sadie wasn't comfortable with it just yet since they had only been together a few weeks.
She headed towards her bus, walking as fast as she could without running. She wasn't much of a runner, if she had tried to walk any faster or run, she probably would have ended up face planting in the dirt. It wasn't long before she got to the bus and she headed inside, looking at Evan. "Ohh, I love that game." She shook her head, "Wait, no. No video games. Where's Cody?" Evan shrugged his shoulders and Sadie rolled her eyes, even thought she could recall at least a handful of times where she had done the same exact thing. She headed farther back and saw him sitting down, looking like something was wrong. "You rang, I'm here. Like a Powerpuff Girl." she smiled at him, sitting next to him, waiting for him to start telling her what was going wrong with him.

As Cody sat there in silence, the occasional voice from outside being heard, but Cody wasn’t able to make out any words, mostly because he wasn’t even paying attention really. He was kind of hoping this was all a dream, what were the odds that he’d see Teddy again? He remained lying there with his eyes closed, trying to relax himself, but not succeeding. He could feel his heart racing and his stomach feeling all warm and fuzzy at just the thought of the other boy, this was not good, not at all. It had been so long and Cody still felt these little things at even just the thought of him? He wasn’t aware that Teddy’s band was on the tour, but then he began to recall telling him earlier on the tour that she was dating someone named Duncan, it couldn’t have been the same Duncan from Teddy’s band, could it? Cody bit his lip, how could he be so stupid in connecting the dots? He was so distracted with his own life and relationship, he didn’t even allow himself too, but now he was.
It wasn’t long until Sadie made it to him, thank god, he needed someone to talk to. He couldn’t help but smile lightly at her greeting words, ”Hey, yeah, you’re pretty quick,” he chuckled lightly, then bit his lip as he remembered why he had summoned her there in the first place. ”I just found out Teddy was on the tour too,” he said, a look of fear in his eyes, ”I know you told me you were dating a ‘Duncan’ but I didn’t realize it was that Duncan,” he shook his head and frowned. Sadie was the only person that was updated and knew about his past with Teddy, so she was the only person he could talk to, which he didn’t mind, she was his best friend, always had been. ”when I heard he was here, I don’t know what happened, Sadie… I just… I don’t know… I feel all weird now, I had to like… excuse myself while I was hanging out with lucas,” he looked over at her, she knew how much he liked lucas too, which was a lot. ”I don’t think I could handle seeing Teddy, Sadie,” he admitted, obviously scared.
