It was Connor’s first day on a tour for a band he’d been with since the beginning, therefore making it his maybe fourth or fifth tour with them. There were some smaller ones, but he was counting the big ones, and this was hands down the biggest one Consider it Mutual had ever been involved with. That being said, he was not new to the job and he was one of the older people in the band, sitting on twenty-four years of age. He was by no means one of the oldest on tour; in fact he was only three years older than the majority of the band, excluding the lead singer who was nineteen. Still, he felt pretty old in comparison. He found it quite ironic that he had such a young face, whereas some of the others looked more mature – they looked their age, maybe even Connor’s. He normally wore clothes of a fancier nature, but tonight was different. He had a slim fitted batman tee shirt that looked like it belonged to a twelve year old and some slim, black skinny jeans. It was also an outfit with very minimal color, which was strange for someone like him, but his superman socks (for what you could see of them) made up for it. Everyone had something to do at this time; it was five in the evening and almost the entire band and crew was settled in, or just couldn’t be in the bus at the moment. Connor was laid across the couch comfortably in this knowledge, where normally he wouldn’t dare take up the entire couch, if he sat on it at all. The band was intimidating, but he knew them well enough that they didn’t actually scare him. He didn’t give them a reason to mess with him, so they generally didn’t. He thought lowly of the majority of them, but he wasn’t too hateful. The Pierce brothers were less of a hassle, at least. Though, Teddy frightened him at times in a different way than the others. He realized that he was not alone when he heard a sudden burst of singing coming from the bathroom, and the sound of the shower became suddenly apparent to him. He figured that he was just too out of it to notice it, but at the same time, it was hard to just not notice Teddy. He was like a goddamn monkey, here and then there in just seconds, and a loud one at that. Connor didn’t mind him in the least, in fact he was fascinated with the energy the boy carried, but he often startled him. Still, he thought of Teddy as a child and he often guided him in the right direction. Song after song, Connor found himself laughing at the selection. First the singer went with Britney Spears, but then ventured into an attempt at screaming, and it was pretty hilarious. Eventually, he came out in a towel, still singing and dancing as he gathered his clothes. Connor laughed and sat up, watching him with a raised eyebrow and trying to think of something to say, but drawing a blank. Teddy didn’t even notice him for a couple of minutes as he threw a shirt on, dropped his towel (and to this Connor looked away, quickly) and got dressed the rest of the way but once he was clothed, he sent him a welcoming grin. “Hey, Connor! Do you know where Dec is? I have to give him something,” he asked and informed, but Connor felt an odd vibe come from the younger male, like he was going to play a joke on Declan or something to the extent of that. He shook his head and grimaced, “Sorry bud, I don’t know. Try the parking lot,” he suggested, watching as the boy practically flew out of the bus and into the parking lot. It made him laugh, but his attention turned quickly to the television, which was showcasing the latest in Kristin Stewart’s affair. Time was passing by slowly and time was descending into the night, but Connor felt perfectly at ease. The boys would be out for some more hours guaranteed, as there was a start-to-the-tour party. He normally didn’t mind attending parties, but he wasn’t a partier. He would drink and have a good time, but that was about it. Besides, he was a shy guy and until the alcohol took full effect, he was boring as shit. So, he sat with a mixed sprite and vodka drink his hand and the TV on in front of him, but he changed the channel to something that wouldn’t kill his brain cells any further. What he changed it to was a documentary on Camelot, and he found it quite interesting. Nothing around him peeled his attention off of it, until the door opened. He knew better than to occupy the television when certain members of the band were on the bus, and it was really only natural to look up and see who it was. When he looked, he was surprised to see an unfamiliar face. He knew there were a couple new crew members, though. He didn’t know if he should approach him or not, but he figured it was better to let the guy walk in the door before he jumped on anything. Besides, it wasn’t like he was a star socializer anyways.
